Rusnano: LED-based lighting systems

30 October 2012 year

Filament bulbs are being retired. Experts say that in less than ten years you won't be able to see “light-bulbs” except for in a museum. Since the end of 2009, 100-watt bulbs started to disappear from the shelves of Europe, and, by the beginning of 2012 such a fate befell all remaining versions of Thomas Edison's invention. As far as Russia is concerned, it has been indicated at government level that: by 2014 Lenin's bulb will no longer be legal. But what is to replace it? The future lies with energy-saving technology! And with LEDs in particular.
