The Pskov Kremlin

17 January 2013 year

This work is part of a large project for the culture.ru portal.

The Guardian of the West — the Pskov Krom — has performed various functions over a thousand years: administrative, economic and military. According to the local legend, this city was the first in Gardarike (Ancient Russia) to turn to the restless rule of the people and has been famous for its irrepressible democracy for a long time, the memory of which lives on.

There's... what is it?.. a crowd of people on the palace grounds! So it's obvious: things are taking A social turn, if I'm not mistaken! Such a quotation from the fairy tale by Leonid Filatov was used by our friend, a taxi driver, to describe a town’s meeting, when he drove us from the hotel to the shooting site chosen in advance. Please, have a look at the result of our work.
