Skvortsov vs Mamlin Battle: What is more important in a film, creative input or the truth?

20 March 2014 year

During the Corporate Video 2014 Forum organized annually by the Association of Directors of Communications and Corporate Media of Russia, Andrey Skvortsov (Mercator) and Boris Mamlin (Kartina Mira) decided to abandon long presentations in favor of an intellectual (to the best of their abilities) battle.
Boris's position: A corporate movie demands emotions and impressions.
Andrey's position: A corporate movie needs true stories and eloquent evidence.

At first glance, it is obvious that both positions have equal merit. But watch the battle, and you will learn nuances, details and differences in the approaches of the two masters... especially because Andrey and Boris agreed to tell each other everything that came to mind, and take no offense from each other's words. The battle is a battle!

Referee: Andrey Baturin (anchorman for the Russia-24 channel, Deputy Director in charge of Public Relations of STROYGAZMONTAZH LLC, Director for Public Relations of the Moscow Dynamo football club).

P.S. During the battle and afterwards, there were no disagreements; quite the opposite!
